UGM Community Service Program (KKN) Promotes Tourism Potential of Wonosadi Forest through Photograph Expo

 

The long lasting condition of the Wonosadi Forest at Beji Village , Ngawen Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul Regency in Yogyakarta has drawn the attention of the KKN PPM UGM. The preserved forest keeps several collections of old vegetations. At the top of Ngenuman in the middle of the forest, we can find the four hundred years old Munggur tree (Javanese Tamarind).

UGM Students welcome the Japanese participants of KKN PPM

UGM welcomes 12 students of Ehime University , Japan , in the Assembly Room, LPPM, UGM Central Office, on Wednesday (5 / 8). The arrival of the group of students is to follow a previous KKN PPM UGM program. The students will be divided into two teams that will be placed in two different places, namely Dusun Salam, Magelang, (KKN organic agriculture) and Dusun Piyungan (KKN biogas utilization).

Twelve Japanese KKN PPM UGM Studentsdying Organic Farming and Biogas

Twelve students of Ehime University, Japan, have arrived to join the KKN PPM UGM (UGM’s Community Empowerment Program Field Practice), on 5-14 August 2009. The Dean of Agriculture Technology Faculty, Dr. Ir. Djagal Wiseso Marseno said that this participation is in the framework of MoU between UGM and Ehime University. He informed the correspondent that all the twelve will undergo a three days orientation before they are set out on the field.
