Indonesian Teenagers Face 'Sexual and Reproduction Revolution’

 

YOGYAKARTA – Indonesia has come to the end of first demographic transition with the total fertility figure almost 2 and low mortality rate. The second demographic transition would be marked by sexual and reproduction revolution that would become a complicated issue for Indonesia as it is unstoppable. The thing to do is to prevent its negative impact. Thus was said by a reprodution health expert from Faculty of Medicine, Prof. dr. Siswanto Agus Wilopo, SU., M.Sc., Ph,D., in his professorship remarks in the Senate Hall on Tuesday, (16/4).

Prof. Agung Endro, UGM Youngest Professor Inaugurated

 

At the age of 36, Prof. Agung Endro Nugroho,S.Si., M.Si., Apt., has earned professorship from UGM. The man born in Surakarta, 15 January 1976, received his decree on 1 October 2012, making him the youngest professor of UGM.

Agung who is a lecturer of Faculty of Pharmacy was officially inaugurated as UGM professor on Thursday (28/2) in the UGM Senate Hall. He delivered a speech entitled the Role of Molecular Pharmacology in the Development of Pharmaceutical Research.
