Concept of sustainability has been gradually applied in various aspects of civil engineering structures. The concept as indicated by high efficiency in human and material resources but less in environmental impacts shall be further implemented in design, construction and maintenance of every civil engineering structure. In this regard, potential networking and sharing information on the latest scientific findings and achievements among civil engineers around the globe shall be accommodated through international conferences as what we will have in this conference in Yogyakarta-Indonesia.
