LPPT UGM is a central university laboratory that is a combination of 4 (four) central laboratory, the Laboratory of Chemical Analysis Center danFisika (LAKFIP), Laboratory of Biological Sciences (SEE), Centre for Studies ObatTradisional (PSOT) and Pelayayanan Animal Experiment Unit (UPHP). All the central laboratory has been known and is able to provide service and contribution to the university and the community in accordance with the scope, area and competency.
LPPT UGM formally established by Rector's Decree No. 265/P/SK/HT/2004 November 29, 2004. In early 2005, GMU LPPT management team has a complete management team is committed to improving the contribution of each laboratory to a more strategic, integrated, collaborative and based on inter-sector approach to science. LPPT UGM run with standard laboratory management principles of ISO / IEC 17025:2000, with the strengthening of early competence in the field of vitamins and pesticide testing. LPPT UGM can also perform testing in the field mikotoxin, fitofarmaka, traditional medicine, fitomedicine, keunsuran test (trace-element), etc..
LPPT UGM also to serve the development of research, product development, methods and tools that SNI-oriented, supporting technology development and manufacturing research, technology support industrial processes, innovative technology-oriented intellectual property rights ownership, and facilitate cooperation partnership.
